Pader Academy is the only school in Uganda that allows women to attend with children.

As many war-affected children returned home, escaping captivity in the LRA, they brought children of their own. At first they weren’t given any education but in Pader, a woman named Alice decided to make a difference in the life of one girl. This led to helping another and another and before she knew it, what had started as a school under a tree had grown into the Pader Academy for girls. We are excited to partner with Alice in her fight to bring justice to this special group of young women.
